Peggi Lisenbee-Wright has served at CCS for over 12 years. She loves CCS because they not only offer help to people with a variety of needs, but also offer the hope of Christ. Peggi's life is greatly blessed by her daughters, her new son in law, and her husband. Her family attends Warsaw Wesleyan Church.

Bill Leslie
Food Pantry Supervisor/Utility Liaison
Bill Leslie and his wife Lynn attend WCC.
Bill volunteered at CCS before being hired through a temporary grant as Utility liaison. He currently shares pantry supervision duties with John Mueller, assists with intake, and schedules utility appointments. Bill continues to volunteer several hours of his time to CCS in addition to his working hours.

Alexis Light

Alexis grew up volunteering at CCS, first collecting food for the first annual Foodathon, then for Stamp Out Hunger and Tools for School. While in high school she created the annual Glass Slipper prom drive. Alexis attends Grace College and her husband, Josh, is completing his final semester at Indiana Wesleyan for his degree in Youth Ministries. She feels blessed to have this opportunity to serve at CCS through our period of transition, and is looking forward to serving at the church God calls Josh to minister at. They currently attend Warsaw Wesleyan Church.

Food Pantry Supervisor/Driver
John has volunteered for several years at CCS. He currently supervises the food and clothing pantries, and picks up donations for CCS. He continues to volunteers several hours each week.

Karen Murphy

Karen Murphy started at CCS through the Catholic Charities program and became an employee in October 2008. She has an Associate degree is Business Administration and has enjoyed the opportunity for the enjoyable career change that working for CCS has offered her.
Karen enjoys most outdoor activities, bowling, traveling, reading, and spending time wtih her pets and family.

Sabrina Phillips
Director-Project Independence, Hand Up

Sabrina Phillips first volunteered to coordinate the Turkey Lurkey race for CCS and then became a case manager for Project Independence. Sabrina is certified as a Family Development Specialist. She and her husband have 4 wonderful children. Sabrina enjoys witnessing the life changing successes of the participants overcoming barriers.

Christie started CCS as an intern in 2009 working with the Emergency Assistance Program. Christie's passion for CCS' programs and missions led her to complete her degree in human service from Ivy Tech college, and she is now a case manager for Project Independance.

Rosa Salazar
Project Independence Case Manager

Rosa Salazar has returned to CCS as a case manager for Project Independence. Her relationship with CCS began over 10 years ago, first as a volunteer, then as Intake Resource and Coordinator for the Syracuse (CCS North) office.
Rosa and her husband have two grown sons. She enjoys using her skills and knowledge to help others, and believes that working at CCS allows her to do that.

Emergency Assistance Intake
KaSandra is a Work-Study from Ivy Tech college. She is majoring in human service. She and her family live in Argos and attend the Methodist Church where her father is pastor.

Kayla Bixler
Warsaw Community High School Intern
Kayla is currently an intern at CCS through a WCHS program. She hopes to improve her communication skills, and aquire better time managment and organizational skills.
Kayla plans to major in Psychology at Miami University of Oxford, and pursue a career in counseling.

Clothing Pantry
Pat Forsythe works in the clothing pantry organizing and stocking shelves. Pat also helps out in our food pantry as needed. She enjoys helping people find clothing and filling the food orders for families.

Jeff has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Rollins College, a MBA from Bethel College and is studying to pass the CPA exam. Jeff and his wife are blessed with three great kids.
