Welcome to Combined Community Services

Our Mission: Combining Community Services to Provide Comfort, Hope and Resources for Neighbors in Need.

Our motto is "Helping Neighbors, Help Neighbors." The collaboration with local churches, businesses, charitable foundations, and individuals allows CCS to enable others to achieve self-sufficiency. By offering "a hand up, not a hand out," CCS offers programs that remove the barriers in families' lives that will enable them to achieve a higher quality of life. CCS looks for new ways to remove barriers for low-income residents of Kosciusko County.

Client Choice Food Pantry

On March 13th, the Emergency Food Pantry became “Client Choice”, with a continued focus on providing healthy foods. This is possible due to the efforts of Warsaw Community High School Junior, Ashlyn Vitoux. As her Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy project, she chose to partner with Combined Community Services to establish a “Client Choice/Healthy Choice” food pantry.

The new procedure will allow residents getting assistance from CCS to pick their own food and be able to choose healthy items. As a member of KYLA, every student has to do one project. As a longtime volunteer with CCS, she decided to complete her requirement with them as the organization is close to her heart.

With this change we will be in need of more volunteers in our food pantry on a weekly basis. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Carrie at ext 230. For more information on the pantry call CCS and speak with either Bill at x233, or Peggi at x222.
